What are attendant services?
Attendant services are physical assistance with routine activities of daily living as directed by the client. The client is responsible for the decisions and training involved in his/her own assistance. We also provide assistance in a client’s place of work and/or educational facility. Clients are advised to have a contingency plan in place as our attendant services cannot be provided on an on-call basis.
What do we do?
In the Durham region, Personal Attendant Care Inc. provides personal support, respite and homemaking services to adults with physical disabilities who are willing and able to direct their own care and wish to live independently in the community. Our clients assist with the development of their own service plan and direct their care to Personal Support Workers.

- Personal grooming and hygiene
- Bathing and washing
- Assistance with rising and retiring
- Toileting, bowel and bladder care
- Transferring
- Assistance with feeding
- Meal preparation
- Respite housekeeping
